Our CSR Partners

Crystal's Story

We are thrilled to share Crystal's story who, just like many others, had a passion for aviation but no idea of the career opportunities available to her.

Thanks to the collaboration between Carbon60, STEM Ambassadors and Virgin Atlantic, Crystal was able to gain invaluable work experience in engineering and gain insight into the world of aviation.

At Carbon60, we understand that STEM education is essential for innovation and economic growth, and our partnership with STEM Learning has enabled us to make a difference.

CSR Impact Report 2022

We are thrilled to share our Impact Report of our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts throughout 2022.

The report highlights the incredible work we've done over the past year in Carbon60 and our sister brands, Lorien and SRG, to give back to the world in which we do business.

Our initiatives have created a positive impact on the communities we serve. We supported various social causes such as education, health, and community development through partnerships with local organisations.

Christopher Blackburn

Head of Corporate Social Responsibility STEM

Since Christopher began his career in the recruitment industry more than 20 years ago, he has focused much of his attention on Learning & Development. In the last five years, he has played a key role in redeploying aviation apprentices who found themselves without a career or job due to industry pressures. Christopher has supported the careers of over 100 engineering apprentices through his efforts.

More recently, Christopher has been driven to engage with early career talent and provide employability opportunities for those who find themselves out of work. He is devoted to driving change in social mobility and helping younger generations to learn about STEM careers.

He is also passionate about giving back to the community through charity and volunteering events. With his expertise and dedication to making a difference, Christopher is committed to ensuring that Carbon60 gives back to the communities in which we do business.
