The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food process industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installation along with planned and preventative maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanical design engineer to join the company supporting projects across the Midlands from their regional office in Rushden, Northampton.

Duties

As a suitably qualified and experienced mechanical design engineer you will be working on a variety of projects associated with the food processing industry. With particular responsibility to produce mechanical design layouts for the manufacture of process pipework, vessels, tanks, enclosures, conveyors, access platforms, secondary steelwork and associated items as necessary and as required by the client.

About You

Based ideally in the Northamptonshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of NN10 6FD.

HNC/HND, Degree qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering you will need demonstrable experience of mechanical designing with a strong industrial engineering background.

Experienced user status of AutoCAD and Inventor 3D is essential for this role.
