Electrician - NVQ level 3
Corby, NN17 5XN.
Mon - Fri 7.30am - 5.30pm
2 month contract which will lead to other work.
The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in high value electrical and mechanical installations within the automotive industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installations along with large scale industrial electrical works and planned and preventative maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for an NVQ level 3 qualified electrician to join the company supporting a major project in Corby, NN17 5XN.
As a suitably experienced and NVQ level 3 qualified electrician you will be working on site at the major food production facility in Corby. With responsibility to install new power and lighting electrical services from working drawings as supplied, ensuring compliance with current wiring regulations. The duties will typically include running ladder rack, trunking and tray containment and the associated wiring to new machine installations and high bay lighting. Other duties will include changing light fittings "like" for "like" and installing 2nd fix fixtures and fittings, floor boxes and lighting units.
Based ideally in Corby you will need to live within a short commutable distance of NN17 5XN.
Demonstrable experience of electrical installation within a commercial/industrial environment with strong electrical core engineering background is essential for this role.
Due to the nature of some of the work you must be comfortable working at heights.
Minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent
ECS essential. IPAF preferred.
In return for your experience you will receive a salary between £20.00 and £22.00CIS per hour as well as a range of other benefits.
