Electrician - Testing and Inspection

Temporary to Permanent position: Mon - Fri 8.00am - 5.30pm

The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in electrical installation and maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join the company, supporting projects in Gloucestershire and across the South West of England.

Duties

As a suitably qualified and experienced electrical engineer you will be working on site at a major commercial / industrial facility in Gloucestershire. With responsibility to carry out planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance within a live working environment.

Typical duties will include fire alarm and call system checks, electrical fault finding, replacing light fittings, renewing lamps, replacing damaged electrical equipment along with small new installation projects.

About You

Based ideally in Gloucestershire you will need to live within a commutable distance of GL20 8NA.

Demonstrable experience of commercial and industrial electrical installations with a strong electrical core engineering background is essential for this role. As is NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and an appropriate testing and inspection qualification.
