An amazing opportunity to join a global player in Internal Combustion Engines as a Senior Engine Test Technician!

 

Our client are experts in innovation are are looking for a ambitious team player who focuses on high performance, quality and getting the best out of a team.

 

The role:

  • Testing engines to validate basic running and it's fluid and boost systems.
  • Running a test cell using both automated and manual test cycles.
  • Partake in complex calibration tasks with support from engineers.
  • Using initiative to reduce waste and optimise efficiency.
  • Take ownership of the unit, equipment and hardware in the test cell

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Automotive background, preferably within a test cell environment.
  • Excellent understanding of engine fundamentals and related systems.
  • Ideally experience of both gasoline and diesel testing with a variety of testing techniques and equipment.
  • Aware of Electrical automotive High Voltage (to 1000V DC) connectivity techniques and advantage
  • City and Guilds or Full Apprenticeship in Automotive Engineering.
  • Full UK Driving licence.
