Our Client is one of the world's leading design consultancies within the Infrastructure and Environmental arena and they are looking to expand within the UK with an ambitious business plan.

This opportunity is to work from the brand new Manchester or London offices (on a hybrid basis), on projects in UK. This is a unique opportunity to add value to the company as we as gaining other knowledge and experience to help you with your career. There will also be optional experience in travelling to different countries working on exciting projects within Water and Industrial arenas and dealing with clients and colleagues from different environments.

  • Managing the delivery of projects may act as discipline lead within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain client contact and ensure that project delivery meets the client's objectives and requirements.
  • Ensuring that the technical content of all work carried out is correct and completed in accordance within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Undertake project delivery tasks, which may include calculations, drawings, sketches and reports.
  • Provide technical guidance, support and training to colleagues and assist, where practicable, in mentoring and development of others.

Work in close collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines.
QUALIFICATIONS, TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent technical knowledge across a variety of sectors including Water, Industrial and Manufacturing
  • Experienced in EC&I detailed design deliverables such as Control Philosophy/FDS, SLD, Cable Block Diagrams, schedules, loop drawings and cable calculations.


Experience in the following would be advantageous:
* HV, ATEX or SIL
* Knowledge of Amtech ProDesign and AutoCAD

  • Degree qualified in an Electrical Engineering discipline
  • Chartered member of IET
