Our Client is one of the world's leading design consultancies within the Infrastructure and Environmental arena and they are expanding within the UK with an ambitious business plan. They are hugely increasing their market share due to a number of long term contracts

This opportunity is to work from London, Manchester or Leeds within the UK (on a hybrid basis), There is optional experience in travelling to different countries working on exciting projects and dealing with clients and colleagues from different environments.

This role is specialising in Water and Industrial projects, so experience within the Water or Industrial Sectors is important.
Some of the responsibilities include:
* Managing the delivery of projects may act as discipline lead within a multidisciplinary team.
* Maintain client contact and ensure that project delivery meets the client's objectives and requirements.
* Ensuring that the technical content of all work carried out is correct and completed in accordance within agreed timescales and budgets.
* Undertake project delivery tasks, which may include calculations, drawings, sketches and reports.
* Provide technical guidance, support and training to colleagues and assist, where practicable, in mentoring and development of others.
* Work in close collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines.

Skills and Experience
* Experience with and design of some or all of the following; Process plant, Rotating Equipment, Pumping Systems, Steam Systems, Clean and waste water systems (clarification, filtration, disinfection, sludge handling etc), Detailed pipework design, Pipework stress analysis.
* Track record of delivering an exceptional client experience to contractors and end clients.
* Proven experience in delivering multi-discipline water industry or chemical plant design projects and good understanding of UK industry standards.
* The ability to plan, lead and coordinate resources and ensure project technical & commercial outcomes and client expectations are met
* Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
