Food Services Assistant

Hourly Rate: £12

Location: Cardiff, Cowbridge Road

Contract: Permanent

Working hours: Shifts - 7 days a week

Carbon60 are looking to recruit an experienced Food Services Assistant to join their new team at a site on Cowbridge Road, Cardiff. This is a great opportunity to be a part of an award-winning facilities management company, being apart of the opening of their new site.

Who we're looking for:

  • A real people person with excellent communication skills, mainly customer facing, you'll interact with our clients and colleagues every day, improving quality of life for all that you meet.
  • Support any enquiries or requests within the food and beverage areas.
  • Serve and replenish food from counters and break down stations at the end of meal periods.
  • Basic food-handling skills, serving to customers.
  • To ensure all specific tasks and areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards. This to include daily weekly, quarterly and annual tasks.
  • To ensure that the appropriate safety signage is used at all appropriate times e.g. wet floor signs to 'warn' customers were possible.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen and stores.
  • To clear and refill catering stations to include replenishing tea, coffee milk and sugar when necessary.
