Start Date - ASAP
Hours - 40hr per week with overtime on an enhanced rates to help with project deadlines.
Work Pattern - (Mon - Thu 07.30 - 16.30, Fridays 07.30 - 11.30 with some flexibility.
Duration - Long term contract (initially 6 months)
Rates - this will depend on individuals experience, lodge and travel considered.

The Opportunity
Requirement of a Mechanical Work Pack Engineer position becoming available to support upcoming long term project contract.

  • Develop Construction Work Packs to AFC status using client drawings & P&IDs, in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures.
  • Liaise with Client Project Engineers for early development of work-scopes
  • Take part in Construction reviews & Construction Readiness reviews.
  • Establish requirements & request quotations for material, plant & equipment.
  • Take part in Risk Assessments & develop Method Statements
  • Provide input into Level 3 schedule.
  • Site surveys, scope / activity job step work scopes using NORMS.
  • Input into ITP & ITR development.
  • Support overall delivery of company goals, objectives and schedule.
  • Identify temporary works required.
  • Identify services to support execution (i.e. access, rigging, lifting)


Desirable:

  • Pipefitting / Structural background
  • Experience in multi discipline projects.
  • Preference for QA / QC experience / competence
  • Ideally local to site (radius payment) but travel / lodge considered.
