Housing Compliance Manager (Bristol)

Carbon 60 is looking to recruit a Housing Compliance Manager for its client based in Bristol City Centre

Salary is £44290pa for a 37 hour working week

This is a hybrid role, requiring office attendance twice a week

This is a temp role, for an immediate start and due to last until the end of March 2025

My client is the largest residential landlord in the city and will directly influence the lives of thousands of people in the area. You will play a key role in ensuring the existing and new homes are safe and secure

Your role

• Carry out a broad range of activities, from collaboration with the internal delivery teams
• Undertake the testing and inspections
• Report on the relevant compliance measures
• Be part of the Asset Strategy Team who are responsible for establishing a long term housing investment plan
• Identify properties that will receive refurbishment
• Lead the generation of monthly and annual compliance performance reports, including gas, electricity, water, fire, asbestos and lifts, to the Executive Members and Regulator
• Support the narrative and audit trail, ensuring all reports are accurate and in the scope of legal requirements
• Lead the response to any internal or external questions regarding housing compliance
• Manage and lead a team of technical staff to maximise growth and productivity
