Technical Manager - Facilities Management - Kinsale, Cork - 72,000 Euro's Plus excellent benefits.

This company, a global player in the FM world, require a Technical Manager to be based at their world class client's site in Kinsale, Cork. The Technical Manager will be an astute, analytical minded individual tasked with proactively ensuring, in a front-line, hands-on fashion, the deliverance of technical services and maintaining excellence in Facilities Management.

Salary: 72,000 Euro's plus excellent benefits.

Location: Kinsale, Cork

Hours of work: 39 hour working week, Monday to Friday

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage operational and commercial aspects of Hard FM services on site.
• Oversee engineering maintenance, including contract work and compliance with standards.
• Develop, implement, and manage energy policies and the Permit to Work system.
• Ensure legislative and safety compliance, including staff training and contractor management.
• Handle reactive maintenance both during and outside normal operating hours.
• Provide expert advice and manage the performance monitoring systems.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in critical environments, preferably Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or manufacturing.
• Building services and plant engineering expertise is essential.
• BIFM Level 5 or Engineering Degree.
• Proven ability to manage a maintenance team and achieve SLA targets.
• Strong communication skills and familiarity with H&S and legislative requirements.
