Carbon60 are working with a leading Engineering & Industrial Services Provider with over 200 sites across the UK and Republic of Ireland. We are currently recruiting for a Condition Monitoring Technician to work on site with a key FMCG customer based in Whittlesey, Peterborough.

This role will initially be on a 12 week temporary contract leading to a permanent position. The working hours are 08:00 - 17:00 - Monday - Friday, 40 Hours per week.

The responsibilities for this role include:

  • Carry out condition-based monitoring regime as per defined asset database routes.
  • Continually improve defined condition monitoring routes.
  • Carry out the interpretation, analysis, and compilation of detailed reports.
  • Reporting asset defects to the client and entering notifications on the client's ERP system.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce downtime on equipment.
  • Deliver CBM know-how using techniques and methodologies to optimise regime.

The following qualifications and characteristics will be advantageous in performing the role but not essential for consideration:

  • You are well versed and certified in multiple condition monitoring techniques including but not limited to - Vibration Analysis (CAT II), Infrared Thermography (CAT I) and Ultrasound (CAT I).
  • Have a broad knowledge and understanding of Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) and be familiar with working in a variety of industry sectors.
  • Previous experience in usage of online remote monitoring systems, either specification off or installation off is desirable.
  • Must be proficient in MS operating systems and tools along with condition monitoring software packages.
  • You will have a proven track record in HSE training IOSH, CCNSG and have excellent communication skills
