Our client are a global leader in the marine navigation systems industry, providing integrated technical solutions for the commercial sector.

They develop and maintain a wide product portfolio, and currently face exponential growth underpinned by an ambitious development roadmap.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join their dynamic team as a Supply Planner! In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of the supply chain operations, ensuring that the products are always in the right place at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Planning: Manage in partnership with the manufacturers the scheduling, production and delivery or all required stock, on time and in full.
  • Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier performance and identify any performance issues to rapidly improve.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality products.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify end to end opportunities to drive change through supply chain
  • KPI Management: To manage the supply chain activities to achieve success in all key performance indicators including customer and supplier OTIF, product availability, inventory health, stock write-off and data accuracy.
  • Risk Management: Deploy the strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Relationships: To collaborate with all department across the business especially warehouse operations to ensure inbound deliveries are scheduled and reverse logistics activity is managed and co-ordinated efficiently and to budget.

About You:

  • 5 years proven experience within supply chain, purchasing or demand planning.
  • Proven experience of supply chain best practice principles (S&OP).
  • Experience dealing with manufacturers and working to deadlines.
  • Experience using an ERP system and MRP systems.
  • High energy, willingness to learn and the desire to get stuck in.
  • Team focused with a can-do attitude and a positive, growth mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail & excellent communicator.
  • Enjoy a fast-paced business with a 'start up' mentality and approach.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute a plan.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, persistent and with a can- do attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable working with data and manipulating to explain current position and next steps
