Our client is a leading company in Oil & Gas Sector in Saudi Arabia looking for a Procurement and Contract Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing the development, negotiation, execution and closing out of a diverse range of contracts across various departments. This role will directly report to the Executive Director of Corporate Services,

Key Responsibilities will Include:

  • Oversees day-to-day contract administration support, manage, and administer the full life cycle of the contracts processes including turnaround related contracts.
  • Oversees drafting complex legally binding contracts, agreements, or instruments such as non-disclosure, teaming and lease agreements, purchase orders, contracts and subcontracts utilizing both custom and standard terms and conditions.
  • Oversees development and negotiation of contracts, and provide technical advice and guidance to minimize risk, ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, and realize operational effectiveness and efficiency in these functional areas.
  • Oversees that for all contracts actions, appropriate documentation is obtained, tracked and maintained within corporate databases, contracts systems in an accurate, systematic and timely manner.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in contracting and develops standards for legally binding agreements, contracts, policies, procedures, templates, tools and systems.
  • Exercises good judgment in selecting best contracting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Acquires funds for the end-to-end unit's activities and manages assigned budget.
  • Develops and implements operational excellence (OE) requirements within the assigned area, coaching staff in expectations to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area managed and the organization more widely.


Who we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar relevant field preferred.
  • Must have 10+ years related experience including 2 years at a supervisory level, covering contract management & supply chain in Oil & Gas sector organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to create effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
