Legal Specialist

Our client is a leading company in Oil & Gas Sector in Saudi Arabia looking for a Legal Specialist who will be responsible for Providing legal counsel and guidance on various legal matters, ensuring that the organization's operations and activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities will Include:

• Provides legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, regulatory compliance, employment law and other.
• Reviews, drafts, and negotiates contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Ensures that contracts align with the organization's legal and business objectives.
• Monitors and ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Identifies legal risks and develops strategies to mitigate them.
• Assists in resolving legal disputes and conflicts, including litigation and alternative dispute resolution methods.
• Collaborates with external legal counsel as needed.
• Participates in the development and revision of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
• Provides training and education on legal and compliance-related matters.
• Conducts legal research to stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization's operations.
• Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area assigned.
• Performs any other relevant task as directed by Corporate Governance & Shareholders Relations Manager.

Who we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in business degree in Law or equivalent.
• Must have 5-8 years of experience in Legal and Counsel preferably in Oil & Gas sector.
• Licensed, admitted to practice, and good standing in Saudi Arabia, United States, Canada, England & Wales, the European Union, or any equivalent jurisdiction.
• Strong interpersonal skills to create effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
