Maintenance Operative - Hull, England - Facilities Management - Temporary - £14.40 Per Hour

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of the largest Facilities Management companies based in the UK, at their prestigious clients site based in Hull, England.

• Monday to Friday
• 30am to 4.30pm
• Hull, England
• £14.40
• Temporary potential to be extended

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine checks and temperature monitoring of water systems and carry out cleans, disinfections of water systems and cooling towers
• Record readings and produce defect reports on the results
• Assist in the production of legionella risk assessments
• Obtain laboratory samples and conduct chemical analysis of water to monitor bacterial growth
• Carry out routine functional RCD testing, periodic emergency light testing and testing of portable appliances (PAT)
• Perform reactive tasks as trained to do so
• Perform round routes, filter changes and greasing/oiling of plant and equipment
• Condition Based Monitoring

The ideal candidate:

• An understanding of the facilities services industry would be advantageous, and a basic appreciation of building services is essential.
• UK Driving license
• Willingness to undertake DV clearance
