Senior Scaffold Design Engineer

The location is flexible across the UK.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for scaffold design engineering services for all offshore and onshore sites.
• Consultation with clients and site teams to discuss, resolve and design major structural scaffold design requirements.
• Design drawings, provide technical guidance, calculations and detailing of structural scaffolds.
• Regular site surveys onshore and offshore installations with follow up reporting.
• Promotion of the scaffold design service and scaffold innovations to the wider Bilfinger group.

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous role in Scaffold Design or Temporary works
• BEng (or above) in Structural/Civil/Mechanical Engineering
• Proficient user of AutoCAD software
• Understanding of structural mechanics
• 3D CAD modelling experience (Desirable)
• Knowledge and experience of structural analysis software (Desirable)

With occasional travel to Aberdeen this role location is flexible across the UK.
