Water Treatment Field Service Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join one of our exciting Water Treatment clients who have a global industry presence, and their equipment/systems can be found in some of the UK's most renowned buildings.

This is a predominantly travel from home position to customer sites (30,000 miles travelled average), so candidates must be willing to travel around the UK and be happy to spend the occasional night away from home. Full product training provided.

Suitable candidates will be based around the Hertfordshire area and be experienced in the Installation/Commissioning/Repair/Maintenance of relevant equipment such as: Reverse Osmosis Units, Water Conditioners, Specialist Filtration Systems, Various Dosing Units. Commercial plumbing experience would be advantageous.

Salary: Up to £40k p/a depending on experience + Annual performance bonus + Vehicle/Vehicle Allowance

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Installations/Removals, Commissioning, Servicing on relevant company equipment including: Water Conditioners, Dosing Systems, Disinfection Units, Filtration Equipment, Reverse Osmosis (RO) Units
  • Taking the lead on installation projects keeping standards and customer satisfaction at the forefront, whilst maintaining efficiency.
  • Be main point of contact on-site for technical assistance, ensuring our client are always represented in a professional manner
  • Ensuring that database and files are kept up-to-date e.g. stock levels, equipment faults, customer records

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in working with Water Treatment Equipment carrying out Installations, Service, Maintenance, Repairs and/or Commercial Plumbing background
  • Excellent communication skills with customer-facing experience
  • Willing to travel around the UK and stay away from home on occasion
  • UK Passport is essential
