As the Electrical Test Operator, you will be responsible for carrying out essential testing tasks within the manufacturing department. This is a hands-on role where you will use your technical expertise to certify products, maintain quality standards, and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Key responsibilities of the Electrical Test Operator include:

• Certifying products in line with the company's certification procedures
• Maintaining product certification and approval through regular audits
• Performing set-up and testing procedures on electronic equipment
• Conducting fault-finding and troubleshooting on electronic components
• Ensuring manufacturing test times are met and maintaining accurate records

The Ideal Candidate for the Electrical Test Operator Role

The company is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Electrical Test Operator who can thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21/ONC or equivalent
• Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent
• Proficient in manual handling, lifting, and slinging procedures
• Trained in ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety protocols
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
