Welding Inspector
Carbon60 are currently recruiting for a Welding Inspector to support one of our Fabrication clients in Greece supporting an Offshore Wind Farm Project, this will be working 1-day per week as standard (subject to change).
Role: Welding Inspector
Work Scope: Fabrication
Location: Volos Area, Greece
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: April 2026
Working Pattern: 1-Day per week, 8 hour days + 2 hours travel
Rates: €370 - €385 Per Day D.O.E All-Inclusive
Interested candidates must live within commutable distance to site.
- General activities on structures, piping, heat exchangers and pressure vessels fabrication.
- Follow-up of Anomaly Reports and Non-Conformities closure.
- Support in Welding Book review & follow up.
- Monitor all quality related activities on the project.
- Monitor the disposition of all issued non-conformance reports.
You will be required to hold:
- Recognised Welding Certification
- 5+ years demonstrable experience which must include Client side and E&P experience
- Experience in steel structures, piping, pressure vessels and fabrication
- Experience of managing vendors
- Familiarity with International codes (Welding/NDT inspection etc)
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP), preferred
- Professional levels of English language skills required
- Full Greek or European working rights required
