General Builder - Carpentry and Plumbing

Hatfield AL10 8XF

Contract Position - 12+ Weeks

The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in mechanical and electrical installation projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a General Builder to join the company, supporting a project in Welham Green, Hatfield.


As a construction General Builder you will be working at the company's site in Welham Green carrying out general construction works on a project to refurbish a major distribution facility. Your main duties will be those activities not covered by the appointed sub-contractors and will include carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, plaster patching, changing ceiling tiles, removing rubbish along with other general works as necessary and as instructed by the site manager. Specific Carpentry duties will include repairing and re hanging doors, plumbing duties will include replacing and re routing copper pipework.

About You

Based ideally in Hatfield you will need to live within a commutable distance of AL10 8XF.

You will need a strong construction trade background along with demonstrable experience of the general construction trades associated with a handyman role and a good selection of hand and power tools.

CSCS is essential


In return for your experience you will receive a competitive hourly rate between £15.30PAYE and £20.00 Own Ltd Co. per hour as well as a range of benefits.
