Electrician - 2391 Testing and Inspection

The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food and beverage production industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installations along with planned and preventative electrical maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a maintenance electrician to join the team, supporting a major project in Peterborough, PE7 2PG.
Duties
As a suitably qualified and experienced maintenance electrician you will be working on site at a major food production facility. Primary responsibility will be to maintain the building fabric to keep downtime to an absolute minimum by carrying out planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the site. Specific duties will include electrical fault finding and rectification works to power and lighting supplies along with periodic inspections and condition reports. Other works will include small containment and wiring installations and general electrical duties as necessary.
About You
As there are no travel or accommodation expenses paid with this role, you will be ideally based in Peterborough or live within a short commutable distance of PE7 2PG.
Demonstrable experience of commercial electrical maintenance, including fault finding and correction works within a major production facility and a strong electrical core engineering background are essential for this role.
NVQ Level 3, AM2, 18th Edition and 2391 Testing and Inspection qualified.
IPAF would be a definite advantage.
