Pipe Fitter - Process Pipework

2 Month, contract position - Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm

£24.00 - £27.00 per hour CIS

This multi-national company offers in depth expertise in the key activities of electrical installation, mechanical & pipe work engineering and process control. Covering all the major industrial sectors, working directly with industrial clients or as partners of specialised contractors and major engineering firms. With the primary aim of meeting client's needs and optimising their industrial performance, the company builds on a broad range of expertise, substantial track record and extensive network. With that in mind, this is a fantastic opportunity for a pipe fitter to join the company supporting a major project in Swindon, SN3 4PE.


As a suitably qualified and experienced pipe fitter you will be working on site at a major manufacturing facility in Swindon, SN3 4PE. Primary responsibilities will include installing a new compressed air line along with 2no. water lines. Typically, DN50 stainless steel with the associated brackets to the air line and 4" stainless steel with the associated brackets and channel to the water lines. Pipework will be supplied in 8m lengths with any make up sections welded by the site welders.

About You

Based ideally in Swindon you will need to live within a commutable distance of SN3 4PE as no travel or accommodation costs are covered for this position.

Demonstrable experience of pipe fitting stainless steel and carbon steel pipework within a food, drink or petro chemical processing environment.

CSCS or CCNSG and IPAF are preferred as the installation will include working at height.


In return for your experience, you will receive an hourly rate between £18.26PAYE and £27.00CIS per hour as well as a range of benefits.
