Electrical Mate / Improver

E2 1YY, Central London ]

7 Month contract Mon - Fri 7.30am - 6.00pm

The company is a Midlands based electrical contractor specialising in new build commercial, industrial and domestic electrical installations. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Mate / Improver to join the company, supporting a new build project in central London.


As a suitably qualified and experienced electrical mate / improver you will be working on site at a new build hotel and apartment development in E2 1YY. Primary responsibility will be to assist with the installation of all electrical containment including conduit, basket and tray, along with the associated wiring, including some twin and earth. All from working drawings as supplied. You will also be required to assist the installation of 2nd fix fixtures and fittings including floor boxes and fluorescent light units, ensuring all installations comply with current wiring regulations.

About You

Based ideally in London you will need to live within a commutable distance of E2 1YY.

Demonstrable experience of electrical installation within a commercial environment with strong electrical core engineering background is essential for this role.

Minimum City and Guilds Part 1 qualified.

CSCS essential.

IPAF would be an advantage


In return for your experience you will receive a salary between £12.50PAYE and £16.00LTD per hour as well as other benefits.
