The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food process industry. The huge range of electrical work carried out by the company includes power and lighting installations along with electrical planned and preventative maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrical project engineer to join the company supporting projects in Birmingham and across the Midlands from their site in Kings Norton.
Responsible for all aspects of electrical works from conception to completion on projects ranging in value between £30K and £2Million. Primary responsibilities will include: producing quotations, negotiating with clients, developing electrical remedial & pull through work, full profit and loss accountability, invoicing, final acceptance and dealing with contentious points. Other duties will include generating the required electrical designs & layouts along with full management of all day to day activities associated with the project, particularly; design, engineering, health & safety of site operatives and subcontractors and producing detailed works schedules. The role will also include developing new clients and strengthening existing client relationships by ensuring the timely execution of the contracts with proper risk management and control.
Based ideally in the West Midlands you will need to live within a commutable distance of B30 3HX.
Demonstrable experience of electrical project engineering within a large electrical contractor is essential for this role.
Electrically qualified to NVQ level 3 and ECS/CSCS are required for this role.
Previous JIB Grading or Approval would be preferred.
