The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food and beverage production industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installations along with planned and preventative maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for an industrial maintenance electrician to join the team, permanently based on site in Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 2QU.
As a suitably qualified and experienced industrial maintenance electrician you will be working on site at a major food production facility. Primary responsibility will be to keep downtime to an absolute minimum by carrying out planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance to heavy process plant and equipment. Specific duties will include electrical fault finding and rectification works to mixers, pumps, motors, heaters and other food production equipment. Other works will include small containment and wiring installations and general electrical duties as necessary.
As there are no travel or accommodation expenses paid with this role, you will be ideally based in Oxfordshire or live within a short commutable distance of OX16 2QU.
Demonstrable experience of industrial electrical maintenance, including fault finding and correction works within a major production facility and a strong electrical core engineering background are essential for this role.
Minimum NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition and ECS.
2391 Testing and Inspection would be advantageous but is not essential.
IPAF would be a definite advantage.
In return for your experience you will receive a salary between £16.73 PAYE and £22.00 CIS/LTD per hour as well as a range of other benefits.
