The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in industrial mechanical and electrical installation and maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join the company, supporting projects within a major food production facility in Sidcup.
As a suitably qualified and experienced electrical engineer you will be working on site within a food production environment in Sidcup. With responsibility to carry out planned and preventative electrical maintenance to the building fabric of a live production facility. Duties will also include small new installation projects, remedial works, fault finding, compliance testing along with general testing and inspection works as necessary. Other duties will include maintaining the production line specifically electrical repairs to motors and inverters but full training for this will be given.
The role will also include covering absence and sickness within the line maintenance crew. This team work a continental shift pattern for which advance warning will be given along with enhancements to the hourly rate.
Based ideally in Sidcup you will need to live within a commutable distance of DA14 5DF.
Demonstrable experience of commercial and industrial electrical installations with a strong electrical core engineering background is essential for this role.
Specific knowledge of maintaining motors and inverters is preferred.
NVQ Level 3, 17th Edition electrical qualifications.
2391 Testing and Inspection or equivalent.
In return for your experience you will receive a salary between £17.00PAYE and £23.00LTD per hour with enhancements to these rates for the continental shift works as well as a range of benefits associated with a market leading organisation.
