Carbon60 are currently recruiting for a UK Business Development Manager to be based near Portsmouth, Hampshire. This role will involve developing business in the Industrial Lighting sector, as well as managing existing accounts.The successful candidate will be excellent at Field Sales, and will be required to attend client visits 3 days per week minimum. The remaining time will be office based, and so candidates should be within a commutable distance from Portsmouth, Hampshire.The company is launching new products this year, which means its a perfect time to join the sales team and a great opportunity to gain some new customers.Main Duties:· Develop relationships and generate sales to achieve Sales Targets · Find new distributors or end consumers · Research the market & identify potential leads (via Internet, magazines, exhibitions, etc.)· Identify Exhibitions where the company should exhibit, organize our participation, attend the event & follow up leads · Create mailings (or e-mailings) with new catalogue, special offers, etc.· Make cold calls to introduce the company & obtain information on prospects, arrange visits as necessary. · Maintain good relationships with existing customers and identify the customers needs· Undertake sales visit to customers · Help customers with after-sales issues liaising internally as required· Generation of monthly sales report/sales visit reports This is an excellent permanent opportunity with uncapped commission.
