HR and Recruitment AssistantStaverton, GloucestershireA leading aviation provider to the emergency services with headquarters at a purpose built facility at Gloucestershire Airport near Cheltenham is looking for a HR and Recruitment Assistant to work a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm. Initiallty a 6 month contract with a view to making this a permanent positionThis role may suit someone who has a genuine interest in HR, possibly studying towards their CIPD qualification and is looking to start their career in HR. Main Duties· Handle internal and external vacancies across a variety of functions as and when appropriate, depending on volume of vacancies being created· Liaise with hiring managers and functional leadership· Become the end to end recruitment consultant for UK and overseas recruitment.· Contribute to a wide variety of projects and processes as appropriate· Organising large scale Recruitment Open Days, representing the HR Department and Company in a professional manner· Assist the HR Manager and team with day to day functions within the HR Department· Provide assistance within the Facilities function, ensuring the smooth day to day running of the different Departments· Working closely with management and candidates to ensure new starter information is provided accurately· Interview preparation and analysis of candidate Personality Profiles· Managing candidate database and candidate applications· Organising interviews and advising on next steps· Placing advertisements on corporate website and jobsites, contacting recruitment agencies· To provide and maintain a day to day administration support function within the Human Resources Department including Recruitment and HR administration Skills/Experience Required· Knowledge of HR and Recruitment beneficial however not required as training will be provided· Excellent verbal and written skills· Experience of working in a very busy working environment· Relationship building skills· Confident telephone skills· Attention to detail· Ability to multitask and prioritise· Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations that require a quick response
