Operations ManagerEssexA leading mechanical access and scaffolding business are looking for an operations manager to run an efficient and effective operation, managing all aspects of the business plan and budget to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Roles and ResponsibilitiesAchievement of key targets for revenue, profit, and stock and debtors Manage and lead an effective team, including recruiting, developing and retaining individuals, and managing all employee relations issuesOversee all operational areas, including supervision and on site operatives, providing additional to support to team members as required to achieve targets.Monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met at minimum. Identify action plans to improve or maintain achievement of targets Oversee projects to ensure adherence to budget, timescales and customer requirements for the Essex regionThe operations manager will ensure Company procedures are implemented and followed by all operations employeesManage and provide customer service to the Essex regionProvide reports and information as requested by the Branch Manager or central management teamThe operations manager will liaise with the estimating team, ensuring all information regarding tender discussions and submissions is obtained, all projects are clearly understood and ensure this information is utilised by the operational team to manage all project phasesWork with the Essex surveying team to maximise revenue by ensuring we meet contractual obligations and internal procedures in monthly valuationsSkills and ExperienceSound knowledge of the mechanical access and scaffolding industriesRelevant operations manager experience within major projectsIdeally qualified within scaffolding SMSTS cardExcellent customer service and senior management skills, with the ability to deal with colleagues at all levels.
