We are currently recruiting for a number of experienced ICA (EC&I) Technicians for a large scale water treatment and process centre upgrade project in the Thames Region, The ICA Technician will be part of a two man team with the other being a qualified electrician. The ICA technician will be required to perform removals, modifications & installations of PLC's, control system components, control panels & remote monitoring equipment at multiple locations.
Due to the variance in the sites and systems used a background working with multiple SCADA, PLC, HMI and Telemetry systems is highly advantageous.
A good working knowledge of the Water industry and its processes are also highly beneficial for this ICA Technician Role.
All specialist tools will be provided when required but generic tools will need to be provided by the ICA Technician.
Van, Fuel Card and expenses (parking, hotel for overnights stay etc.) are also included. Typically you will work an 8 hour day, starting at around 7.30am and you should be prepared to visit the PMO office/workshop at least once day to carry out any panel modifications and collect equipment for the following day, however due to the variance in jobs this may not be the case and could be every few days.
ICA Technicians wishing to apply should possess the following attributes:
SCADA Experience
Profibus experience
Instrumentation calibration experience
The ability to fault find PLC code
17th Edition
Electrical qualifications
JIB gold card
These ICA Technician Role can either be on a 6 month rolling contract basis
