Electrically biased Maintenance Engineers from an industrial background are invited to apply for this role. We are looking for Maintenance Engineers with experience of working within a maintenance function in a manufacturing environment involving automated production equipment.
Preferred experience: - Electrical biased with mechanical experience. - Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment essential. - Robotics & Automation maintenance and problem solving experience essential. - Moulding equipment maintenance and problem solving experience essential. - Siemens, Omron & Allen Bradley PLC knowledge desirable
This is a Shift position covering Saturday night through to Tuesday night at this busy production business.
The shifts are:6pm Saturday to 6am Sunday6pm Sunday to 6am Monday6pm Monday to 6am TuesdayThe main requirement of this role is to support, maintain and improve production machinery in line with the daily business requirements. You will be responsible for fault finding and root cause problem solving on a variety of injection moulding and automation equipment, automated decoupling, assembly, moulding and packaging machines. injection moulding machines including Demag, Nissei, Arburg, Engel & Aoki.Additional responsibilities:
- Carry out PPM schedules. - Identify and carry out Near Miss & Kaizen Engineering improvement projects. - Actively train down skills through standardised work to other maintenance engineers and TPM practitioners. - Must be computer literate as all maintenance activities are controlled through a maintenance electronic system (Planet Mobile). Qualifications Required: HNC Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent NVQ 3 Maintenance Engineering or equivalent
