Infrastructure Development Engineer - Active Directory

Were looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a highly respected organisation to work as part of a team to deliver an Active Directory upgrade project.

Key technologies:Experience of the following technologies: -

  • Expert level knowledge of Active Directory on Windows Server 2008 and 2016
  • Excellent knowledge of Domain and Forest upgrades
  • Excellent knowledge of Group Policy administration
  • Excellent knowledge of Backup and Recovery
  • Excellent knowledge of Disaster Recovery testing
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 systems administration and support
  • Excellent knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS and DFS
  • Excellent knowledge of VBScript/Powershell for Windows
  • Strong knowledge of PKI infrastructure

As the ideal candidate you will have specialist knowledge of the above technologies and experience of the following technologies with the aptitude to take on the development and support of new technologies and vendors: -

  1. Understanding of using Single Sign On (SSO) preferably with PingFederate
  2. Knowledge of monitoring best practices, preferably with BMC Truesight
  3. Knowledge of Privileged Access Management systems
  4. Knowledge of Identity and Access Management, preferably Oracle OIM An MCSE
  5. equivalent certification in Windows Server 2008/2012/2016

Infrastructure Development Engineer - Active Directory ITL5 Location:Bracknell 6 Month Contract

Day to day responsibilities: 3rd line support, production and development environments Application project support Design and build Develop and document standards, processes and procedures

Understanding of server performance tuning and optimization The successful candidate will have the following experience:

Operational experience of large multi-technology Active Directory Domain environments to a demanding enterprise business

Experience in delivering into projects with tight deadlines, embedding yourself within the project team to ensure successful delivery

Managing their own time effectively to ensure workload is clearly prioritised This role is well suited to a team player with strong communication skills, who is service oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
