Problem Manager ITL5 Bracknell

Duties & Responsibilities

we require an experienced Problem Manager to support the evolution of the practice in its Service Management capability.

The newly formed Service Availability team is actively recruiting individuals to support the IT Operations objective of Operational Brilliance and Continual Service Improvement

Problem Management is a function within the Service Availability team, its purpose is to support Service Owners and IT Leadership by actively managing and prioritising defects, identifying trends, and taking appropriate actions to ultimately improve the stability and operational quality of IT services.

Job Requirements As an experienced Problem Manager you will support and advise the Service Management process and Service Owners by

  • establishing and embedding best practice approach
  • defining and delivering ongoing improvements to processes ?
  • defining and implementing required updates to tools and reports ?
  • working proactively and collaboratively with internal stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers to embed processes and to deliver optimum value for JLP.

You will be expected to participate in additional operational and project based activity during your engagement as directed by the Service Availability Manager Required essential experience skills and qualifications To perform in this role we expect applicants to demonstrate knowledge, skills and capability in the following areas

  • Demonstrable experience leading service improvement within a complex organisation.
