Welding/Fabrication Team Leader, Commutable from Southampton, Bournemouth & Poole, Salary circa £33k My client is seeking a Welding /Fabrication Team leader who will work closely with the Quality manager and Production manager in all manufacturing related matters. The role for Welding /Fabrication Team lead will be more office based and will ensure all company standards and Health and Safety protocols are strictly adhered to at all times and all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures and to motivate and support staff at all times in relation to good working practices.The right candidate for this role will work in conjunction with the Quality manager ensure adherence to documented process controls at all times so therefore an extensive knowledge of welding and assembly processes along with a proven track record of working to engineering drawings to ensure a good understanding of the requirements within each I.E tolerances, welding symbols is required The Welding /Fabrication Team leader will highlight any process issues to Technical or Production Engineering as required and provide the necessary support in the resolution of these issues and to record all non-conforming product produced in the fabrication area and ensure the correct process is followed for containment and control.And to carry out analysis of production processes in conjunction with Technical and Production engineering to eliminate any potential for staff to produce non-conforming product.The successful candidate for this role will have an engineering background ideally gained from a welding/fabrication environment and have a good understanding of the importance of all testing requirements and the subsequent actions necessary dependant on the results achieved for all product going through this process, Candidates with experience in Welding codes would have an advantage.
