Master Scheduler, Commutable from Southampton, Bournemouth and Poole. Salary circa £50k My client is seeking a Master Scheduler who will be responsible for the creation of the master schedule to satisfy customer demand as well as the decision making processes that drive the supply chain in line with programme requirements whilst maintaining effective inventory levels and accuracy for parts through the appropriate stocking policies analyse and report on actual customer demand, trends and forecasts and adjusts capacity plans accordingly. The Master Scheduler will lead the scheduling team in translating projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule. Work with customer base to determine weekly inbound forecast and develop consumption models to improve accuracy. Establish key performance indicators of forecast accuracy. Ensure the interaction of a firms functional managers, and track and maintain the forecast through timely and accurate feedback. The Master Scheduler will schedule demand based on the product mix and provide accurate commitment dates to customer service team across multiple product lines Assemble master schedule reporting regarding performance to the business plan, the shipment plan, the inventory plan, and the production plan and will alsoProvide input to finance on operating plans for the sales and operations planning process, concerning incoming volume and capacity. Identify current planned level of demand and create tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand. Calculate production lead times. Manage load levelling and bottleneck scheduling and utilize theory of constraints (TOC) for more accurate scheduling The Master Scheduler will also analyse production floor status through input/output control reporting.Establish reporting to determine labour and productivity performance statistics. Understand capacity management relationship to MRP and establish, measure, monitor, and adjust capacity levels to execute all manufacturing schedules. Determine available capacity before planned orders are released and then engage in capacity management during sales and operations planning, master scheduling, materials requirements planning, and production The right candidate for the role will have proven experience with complex planning, forecasting and product lifecycle programs, Experience with Purchasing/Materials tools (MRP, Inventory analysis, part or supplier profiles etc) and 5-10 years of Supply Chain/Master Scheduling experience and relevant degree/certification For more info contact Steve on 01329 227059 or Email <>
