Are you a manufacturing engineer with experience working within an electronics manufacturing environment?Then you might be just the person our client is looking for!
You would be joining a company that design and develop embedded computing products used in land, sea and air defence applications.
Due to expansion, the client are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to join them on an initial three-month contract basis.
The successful manufacturing engineer will carry out the following duties:· Streamlining and improving the production process· Design, deployment and ownership of tooling and production equipment· Foster continuous improvement operations at each stage of the product lifecycle· Failure investigation, root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions· Attendance at NPI and design review meeting, providing input from a continuous improvement perspective
The successful production engineer will have the following experience:· 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in an electronic engineering environment· Good understanding of electronic manufacturing quality standards including IPC-A-610 and IPC-JSTD-001· A change agent accustomed to influencing and motivating others· Excellent communication at all levels· The ability to obtain SC Clearance
