Carbon60 are currently working with one of the UK's leading pharmaceutical companies to recruit an experience Process Engineer to assist with the commissioning of a new sterile manufacturing facility based in the North East.
This facility has gone through the design stages and is now in the final stages of construction.
This position will focus on the commissioning and validation of various areas that include but are not limited to:
- Water systems
- Gas systems
- Clean Rooms
- Dispensing Isolators
- CIP/SIP Systems.
Further responsibilities will include authoring of the commissioning and validation protocols for these areas as well as executing the protocol packs supervising all commissioning activities and overseeing/coordinating as team of sub-contractors on sites through the final installations and modifications.
Once this has been completed the need for troubleshooting on start up will be needed as well as managing the final hangover to the engineering operations teams.
We are looking for someone who has experience within either the pharmaceutical, FMCG, cosmetics or related sectors with a focus on previous projects that have included work on pressurised systems, quality gas systems, clean room installation and CIP Systems.
A solid understanding of GMP is essential for this position alongside a history of completing validation/qualification documentation.
This contract process engineer position will be on a 12-month contract basis with a competitive rate of pay.
Start date will be scheduled for late November/early December with initial interviews being held within the next two weeks.
