Carbon60 are currently working alongside a leading Oil & Gas company based in Portsmouth to recruit an exciting new position for an Analysis Manager with a focus on managing all analysis work packages and engineers within the team.

Part of this role will be to lead the development and deployment of analytical models to predict structural performance utilizing a team of engineers to do so.

specify and lead the procurement of analysis software and hardware required to deliver the business objectives alongside the strategic management of suppliers and services from external sources.

This management position will also manage the provision of analytic reports to support business development.

To be successful in this position all candidates will need to have a solid understanding of documented controls and processes such as QHSE procedures, risk assessments and COSSH assessments. As a manager this position will also have the requirement to take an active involvement in the improvement of processes promoting this across the company.

Due to the nature of work that this company specialises in during the course of projects changes may be made to requirements and as such the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges.

Experience Required:

  • Excellent working knowledge and experience of the design and analysis of composite structures.
  • Knowledge of structural analysis techniques.
  • Programming experience in Fortran and MATLAB.
  • Previous experience managing teams of engineers and leading projects focusing on analytical data and stress testing.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to adapt to and overcome challenges.
  • Degree in relevant engineering field.
