SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Our client is an award winning systems design team, working on some of the world's most advanced aviation mission systems. As a result of their continued success they are looking to recruit a Senior Systems Engineer to undertake tasks across the entire engineering lifecycle. There is the potential for development into a principal engineer role as the team continues on its planned growth path.

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer, ideally with a background in the aerospace or other regulated industry, with proven capability across the full engineering lifecycle including:

• Requirements generation and management.
• Verification and validation.
• Configuration management.
• Generation and review of associated technical documentation.
• Code review (highly desirable).

You should be able to work collaboratively in a small, dynamic team within a fast moving Systems Development environment, applying a 'hands-on' approach to complex Mission Systems alongside our former aircrew subject matter experts.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate experience of working to regulatory frameworks such as DO-178 and DO-254 as well as possessing a good working knowledge of software development including modern tooling and .NET languages.
