An excellent opportunity has arisen working for a prestigious aviation manufacturing organisation based in the South Wales area.

The requirement is for a finance analyst to join the team reporting to the Senior Risk Manager. This is a contract position and there are two slightly different roles available and they are happy for you to be considered for both. It will be an initial 6 month contract, however there is already provision for 12 months and beyond.

The 1st role is a Finance Analyst working within Operations and the 2nd role is a Finance Analyst working within the Partnerships team.

Finance Analyst - Operations - In this role, you will utilise your experience and expertise to provide meaningful financial analysis and support to the business teams. You will solve problems, develop and execute objectives for yourself and others, and will have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. You will work closely with a cross functional team to support long term customised service contracts (CSA), to drive profit margin expansion and mitigate risks. One key focus of this role is the operational cost analysis and control for the engine services platform. You may also support the renegotiation of CSA's and prepare analysis and modelling of multiple scenarios to meet customer requirements whilst maximising opportunities.

Finance Analyst - Partnerships - This role will focus on the complex partnership agreements with external partners. You will be involved in a full breadth of items including new contract amendments, renegotiations, pro-active optimisation of our agreements, monthly revenue share calculations and supplemental charges. You will also manage the recovery from partners for agreed items in line with our program share agreements. You will work closely with teams to identify new opportunities and implement the operational processes for each new initiative.

Both roles will suit a finance professional or qualified/part qualified accountant, with a track record of delivery results ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

The recruiter has stated that all applicants for this job should be able to prove they are legally entitled to work in the UK. Carbon60 is a trading name of Carbon60 Limited an Employment Business/Agency.
