Head of Projects Project Manager required for a large real estate services and investment company.The role is based primarily in London with travel along the M3 and M4 corridor and up into the Midlands required to manage the project portfolio. The role purpose is to deliver office fits-outs for multiple clients across multiple locations with quality, within timelines and budget. Manage the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality control.Produce scopes and programmes for individual packages of work with overall project program and milestones to deliver successful responsible for managing projects throughout the lifecycle. Acting as the main client interface, delivering on the clients objectives and adding value to the project management service offering. Contribute to the strategic growth and implementation of appropriate tools to develop the business. The key responsibilities are to manage all facets of project management such as budget, schedule, procurement, quality and risk for individual real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout.Interface directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification. Administer all building contracts. Report project status and variances creating action plans to meet objectives, budgets and schedules. Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders. Assess change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and the risk.The ideal candidate will have the ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret the most complex business documents and can write reports and manuals. The ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ideally you will be qualified to degree level in a technical or industry specific area of study. Supplementary Project Management qualifications such as APMP, LEED, RICS or equivalent are essential.
