Carbon60 are currently working with a leading repair and service company to recruit an experienced Electro-mechanical Fitter/winder to join there service centre based in Bromborough on a permanent basis.
The position will focus on the electrical and mechanical repair of various high and low voltage motors and associated rotating/plant equipment. Part of this role will be to also perform installations, overhaul and removal services.
After continues growth this company is looking to expand their team and are looking for someone who has a solid understanding of rotating equipment that can come on and hit the ground running.
Dismantle, test, inspection and rewind of both mechanical and electoral motors both within the workshop and based in the field on-site with customers.
Maintaining high levels of quality and customer service both in the workshop and in the field.
Compile inspections and site reports.
Perform rewinds on electro-mechanical rotating equipment, this will include:
- Single Phase
- Three- phase
- DC fields
Using specialised equipment for repair and testing that will include:
- Winding Machines
- Test panels
- Surge testers
- Core-loss testers
- Cut off Saws
- Burnout ovens
- VPI Systems
- Dip Tanks
The successful candidate will be required to have completed an electrical/mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent as well as having proven hands on experience working with LV, HV and DC Motors.
Experience working within an MRO sector is ideal.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
Able to develop relationships with customers and clients.
Knowledge of continuous improvement.
Full drivers licence is essential.
