We are looking for an individual with a background in electrical and mechanical maintenance to do a project for a client. The role is to go through a factory and identify all equipment in the factory that may require maintenance, then create a factory Bill of Materials listing all equipment and components that may need to be stocked for future maintenance.
This is not a hands on maintenance role but requires someone who has experience of maintenance in a heavy engineering environment. It will involve working in partnership with the end client to look at all equipment in the factory and methodically catalogue it using an IT system.
Key skills required:
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within a heavy engineering environment
- Ability to visually identify components both electrical and mechanical
- Ability to use an MRP system to log all components and equipment
- Ability to advise on likely replacement/servicing schedules for equipment
