I am now working with an Oxford based client who are in the process of expanding into a new facility. Due to this expansion they are now seeking a sales engineer who will help ensure further growth. Working from their Oxford site, you will be responsible for visiting customers and promoting my client's laser machining services and products. Generally, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the following activities are carried out:
- Conduct meetings with both new and existing customers to direct sales of laser processing machines and services.
- Prepare proposals and presentations to fully demonstrate my client's capabilities to customers.
- Interpret and understand customer requirements and promote the correct solution to match a customer's needs.
- Assis with the creation of marketing materials such as Datasheets, Videos, samples etc.
In order to be successful in the role you will possess two years of experience working with lasers for material processing, either in the lab or out in the field with customers. A good comprehension of the application of lasers within a manufacturing or material processing setting is also required.
