Health and Safety manager

A Health and Safety Manager is required on an interim basis working for a large manufacturing business based in Birmingham. This Health and Safety Manager will need to manage one sites compliance with all necessary standards and also provide outreach support for two satellite sites.

Role responsibilities:

- Provide QESH support and advice for 3 sites, 1 local and 2 satellite

- Maintenance of ISO 9001, 14001 and 450001 systems and associated documentation

- Ensure Safe Systems of work are developed and implemented

- Carry out periodic reviews and inspections to ensure sites are adhering to processes and policies

Experience Required:

- Membership of relevant bodies (IQA/IEMA/IOSH)

- Relevant experience within a Health and Safety Manager position within a similar manufacturing business

- Knowledge of UK/European Health and Safety standards/legislation
