Machinist/Fitter

Carbon60 are currently recruiting for a unique position with a leading engineering company based just outside of Bristol in Avon.

The company specialise in manufacture / re-manufacture of components for DC motors

The role is a blend between mechanical fitting and machine operations more specifically manual lathe, as such we are looking for candidates who do have experience in both areas.

The mechanical fitting side of this role is a more traditional workshop fitter, working from detailed engineering drawings assembly various mechanical products utilizing bench tools such as sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers etc.

The machinist side of this role will focus on central lathe turning and shaping.

We are looking for two candidates for this position one on a contract basis and one on a permanent basis and this is due to an immediate need as well as expansion of the business.

The contract position will be expected to last approx. 6 Months.

This will be on a straight days shift Monday to Friday.
