Overview

Undertake high standard building repairs, maintenance and refurbishment activities to Housing Properties, in the Brighton and Hove Borough, East Sussex. Predominately working in occupied properties

Person

• Experienced in general building repairs
• Support completion of repair/refurbishment works on time and to a high standard
• Work as part of a team or alone in delivering general building repairs and refurbishments.
• Process all activities electronically or manually as required
• This includes but is not limited to completing risk assessments, worksheets, timesheets, photographic evidence of works before/during and after, van stock replenishment, booking of annual leave, vehicle inspections and writing reports on works required or completed as necessary.

Requirements

• City and Guilds or NQF level 3 or equivalent in bricklaying trade discipline
• Good knowledge of the building industry
• Good understanding of health and safety
• Good knowledge of risk assessment
• Good experience in general building trade in a construction/maintenance environment
• Experience of working with all building equipment and personal protective equipment

42.5 hours per week

£14.01 per hour PAYE

Must have driving license

Standard DBS

Initial 3 months + extension
