Fire (and Security) Commissioning Engineer

Fire (and Security) Commissioning Engineer required for our clients based in Bedfordshire.

Negotiable Salary - BEDFORDSHIRE

Overview: Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer (advantageous if have experience on CCTV and Intruder also.) As a Fire Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning of an array of commercial and industrial projects throughout your area. You will report directly to your Line Manager however you will be responsible for being the first point of contact between the business and the client therefore customer service skills are crucial. You will be responsible for the followings:

Fire Engineer duties include:

• Completing the repairs, maintenance, installations & commissioning of Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV and Intruder Alarms.
• Be able to read & understand drawings & once the job is completed, instruct the end user on how to use the product
• Coaching other team members
• This role may involve running a department, further down the line
• Working in a new department, working independently and as a team

Fire Engineer requirements include:

• Must be an experienced Fire Alarm installation engineer
• Experienced with wireless systems
• Hold a recognised electrical qualification
• Be able to drive
• Must be happy to work within a smaller team
