Our client is an exciting, big ambition, fast-paced biotech. The company brings together cutting edge technologies including antibody repertoire profiling, deep learning and proteomics and has world-leading founders and management team. They are focused on the identification of protective antibodies in the areas of oncology, neuroscience and infectious disease.

They are looking for a talented IT Support Technician to work as part of their UK IT Team. The IT Support Technician will be responsible for the up-keep of company networks (LAN and WAN), ensuring that security is monitored and maintained and that network capacity is sufficient for business requirements. In addition, the IT Support Technician will support the seamless running of the IT support helpdesk. This part of the role involves helping colleagues with IT matters as they arise, as well as maintaining and improving internal IT infrastructure. The role will entail varied project work, which will also give you the opportunity to extend your skillset.

The IT Support Technician will be based in Cambridge, but an element of remote working is possible.


  • Day-to-day support of colleagues using Windows and Apple laptops running a host of business-critical software services
  • Network monitoring, maintenance and upgrades across ondon and Cambridge facilities
  • Contributing to the security of networks and data stores
  • Helping to design and deploy hardware solutions (laptops, AV systems, laboratory equipment)

Experience & Requirements


  • An open and collaborative attitude towards IT support
  • Great problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in an IT Team supporting users in multiple locations with a primary user environment of Windows and Apple products


  • A degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Experience with monitoring and maintaining business network architectures
  • An interest in cloud computing and, particularly, AWS
